Description
Precise 1995 reprinting by Toppan Printing in Japan. Like most others from this company, with a set edition of 200, cannot be told from the originals. Heavyweight Champion Joe Lewis was depicted in 1960 with rough expressionistic strokes to convey a sense of rugged strength, with a collage of fragmented typographic snippets forming a disjointed “thought bubble” above his head. This was meant to represent his chaotic mental state pre-bout. Mint.
