Description
MF Agha (1896-1978) was America’s greatest graphic designer of the early-to-mid 20th century. He re-designed magazines like Vogue and Vanity Fair to make them premier graphic objects on the international stage between the wars. He invented things we take for granted today like the bleed page, and also was the editor of the magazine by and for graphic designers, ‘PM’. This exquisitely composed beach scene is typical of his exceptional eye. It is marked on the back (see gallery). A beautifully done image!
