Description
The item is shadowboxed with relief letters and a character who, when the item is shaken, puts a drink of the Anis liquor in his mouth. Since most Spanish bars of the period were quite old, this was no doubt a very ingenious attempt at utilizing loose boards, shelves etc. so that it would move when anyone would walk by. In overall near mint condition with minimal aging. I’ve never seen another one.
