Description
A crowd rushes to embrace a large group of wild west and other figures making up the vaudeville troupe. This is an interesting image. This poster utilizes an “image burning” gimmick possibly for the first time in advertising. When the red Byron banner at the top is stared at or is in the eye view and when the observer looks away, a ghost view of “Byron” is seen as a temporary afterimage. The image is quite rich and highly detailed. Some small restorations, but overall near mint on linen.
