Description

M.K. Paine, Windsor, Vermont. The “Green Mountain Boys” – a euphemism for Vermonters which was struck during the American Revolution – extract cedar resins in darkened woodland which promise to cure “weak and lame backs… extracting the coagulated poisonous impurities of the system, etc. Designed and printed by early soft stone lithography. Near-mint overall and very fresh. American advertising this early is very rare! (medical)
