Description

A great example of art deco used by the Pennsylvania Railroad. There is a photo of Raymond Loewy, leaning against one of the very trains he designed for the PA Railroad Company. Loewy was famous for streamlining product design including refrigerators, trains, cars, boats, toasters, furniture. He is most famous for appliance design. The locomotive is beautifully rendered in crayon lithography. Minor margin edge repairs with archival tape top, left and ride side. Slight pale staining lower left which does not detract from the design. Minor fold lower right. Otherwise overall near mint.
