Original Vintage London Transport poster ca. 1950’s. A reputed patron of the arts, London Transport posters continually pushed the stylistic limits of the modern poster, and established the Johnston Typeface as one of the longest running examples of corporate branding that has come to represent both London Transport and London itself. This example paints a vivid picture of visiting countryside churches in the area amid an expressive scroll-like design. Soft fold lines and minor edge tears, losses along 3 of the fold lines and tac holes as present during use. Otherwise, quite bold.
