Publication from the Defense League of the Territorial Integrity of Hungary. Anti-Romanian poster depicting Saint Elizabeth protecting the poor Hungarians from an entourage of villainous Romanians attempting to steal their people. Romania was at the time trying to assimilate parts of Hungary into Romanian culture. Budapest was the center of resistance to these Romanian integration efforts of newly acquired territories that came about following the end of the Great War. Some damp staining.
