Description

These were prevalent on public buildings in the 1940s to the ‘60s showing the symbol of the atom in appropriate yellow with black. The yellow was selected when the sign was originally designed to mimic organic matter (including skin) after it had been radiated. This was apparently hung on a building and there are two rusty corners with nail holes. Otherwise, the sign is in very fine-near mint condition.
