This children’s book represents how incredibly extensive the Office of War Information’s reach went to create a narrative for everyone. The book identifies little John’s dad as a “ferry pilot” of B-17’s, and also identifies John’s father’s friends in the Army Navy Marines Submarine Service and Merchant Marines, all photographed and described. The book even has pages for coloring. This is actually quite a scarce item. (Kids /Elementary) Near mint, unused and very fresh.
