Description

A hunter takes a break with his loyal Pointer and a shotgun. This was among a number of commissions Hohlwein did for varied companies during his only visit to America in 1927. It also coincided with the publication of his biography. Many years ago, I saw the progressive for this belonging to a collector and was surprised to see it was 6 colors! 5 reds and a black. The example we are offering here was a proof and folded with two vertical fold lines. Fresh as new. Very nicely printed. Framed.
