Description

A cherub drives a polar bear and a black bear from an ornate sleigh ridden by a young lady dressed in winter attire. At the bottom, below the sleigh, is a poem:

On either side is a complete calendar for 1903. This was designed to be a triptych with the two sides bent back to create a 3D effect. The die-cutting is remarkable as is the subtlety of the embossing in the printing. This is a masterpiece of turn of the century technology! Tipped onto illustration board, certainly removable. (Winter /Christmas /Animals /Victoriana /Santa) Lower right corner bend. Otherwise, I cannot find any defects or losses in the die-cutting upon close inspection. It is remarkable.
