Description

Factory protection poster showing worker with hair up and a hat on and another worker who has torn her long hair in a machine. These posters were distributed early in the war because so many women wanted the Veronica Lake hairdo which was long and composed of long blonde trusses. Veronica Lake cut her hair short in a patriotic effort to get girls to do the same and avoid accidents. Near mint on linen.
