Description

Captive JFK tries to release the bonds of Uncle Sam while Chicago’s Mayor Daley peers through a fire hydrant from which a hose is held by George Wallace dressed as a condor all pointed toward a chained, slave-like black American male who is ready to fall to pieces despite his chains. This work is as interesting and well done as the best of 19th century French caricaturists. Mint condition.
