Anon, Springs Mill New York, 10” x 13” (seven) posters with original mailing envelope, ca. 1950s

In stock

A series of small posters developed by the president of Spring Maid, Colonel Elliott White Springs, president of the mill. His ads were very sexual, in fact bordered on the pornographic in the context of the period. His risqué ads were all very colorful images many signed by Fritz Willis of sexy women with exhortations to “protect yourself” etc. These really made the Spring Maid label an international company. There are 7 original posters with the original mailing envelope. I can’t read the mailing date but I think it’s 1952. The posters are all mint condition.
