Designed by Herbert Bayer for the District of Thuringia the year he graduated. Each is 5.5 x 2.75”, and in denominations from 1 to 5 million Marks. There are 13 different here(!) with color variants. This is among the earliest of Bauhaus commercial design and are pioneering Modernist icons. Rare. Conditions run from very good to mint. (Grid System/ Money/ Inflation /Weimar /Futurism)
