HONORS
Alexander Theofiles and his bride, Meghan, both graduated with honors from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Both are members of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Alexander graduated Summa Cum Laude, the top dog in the class of 2012.
He was also awarded the faculty Gold Medal, the Balder Prize for Academic Excellence, the Hummel Award for Excellence in Internal Medicine, the R R Roberts Memorial Prize in Medicine, and election to the Gold Humanism Society.
They have both been invited to the Mayo Clinic for their residencies. The University has placed Alexander’s valedictorian address on You Tube. It’s short, and we think eloquent.
